Computer
Forensics Inc. Opens Office in Lawrence,
Kansas
Strategic
location to serve corporations in the Midwest
Seattle
- May 22, 2002 - Computer Forensics Inc.,
a leader in the field of electronic risk control
and computer evidence discovery, announced today
that it is opening an office in Lawrence, Kansas.
The location was chosen because of its strategic
proximity to the central part of the country allowing
Computer Forensics Inc. to more easily provide
Midwest-based companies with more timely and efficient
services in the area of electronic evidence discovery,
computer forensics analysis, expert witness services
and electronic risk control programs.
The
new Central Office is located in the Midwest to
provide coverage across the whole of the US, from
its Seattle-based headquarters to its East-coast
office in Coral Springs, Florida. With this new
location, corporations anywhere in the 48 contiguous
states can receive best-of -breed services from
Computer Forensics Inc. within about 2 hours.
"Historically,
there has not been a presence of computer forensics
and electronic evidence discovery experts in the
central part of the country," said Deborah
Juhnke, vice president of Computer Forensics Inc..
"Our goal at Computer Forensics Inc.
is to provide companies across the country with
timely services and opening this office helps
us to achieve that. We have seen an increase in
the need for these services not just in the coastal
states but in the interior of our country as well.
We want to respond accordingly."
With
the office in Kansas, Computer Forensics Inc.
is filling the demand in the Midwest for computer
forensics specialists. As use of email and the
Internet increases, more companies are finding
that they need electronic evidence discovery,
computer forensics services and electronic risk
control programs. Companies are also finding the
need to train their employees on how to use network
resources effectively and are looking for experts
to help them develop programs and handbooks to
do so. Computer Forensics Inc. provides
plan design, training, employee handbook development
and audits.
"We
specialize in helping companies protect themselves
from costly litigation and liability related to
email use, file retention and workplace privacy.
The interior states in our country host some of
the largest Fortune 1000 companies, which are
constantly installing more sophisticated computer
systems and technologies, and giving all of their
employees access to email and the Internet,"
said Joan Feldman, president of Computer Forensics
Inc.. "We want to be as accessible
to those companies as possible so we can help
them ensure security for their networks and employees.
And certainly, if they find themselves in a situation
that becomes litigious, we want to be able to
help them in a timely manner."
