DuPont
Legal Names Computer Forensics Inc. to Network
of Legal Service Providers
SEATTLE
May 18, 2004 DuPont Legal has named
Computer Forensics Inc., one of the nations
leading providers of computer discovery services,
as a primary service provider in its renowned
strategic partnership program established with
selected law firms and suppliers.
The
innovative program is a component of the widely
acclaimed DuPont Legal Model, which began in 1992
as part of an effort to significantly reduce the
350 U.S. law firms and numerous legal service
providers then serving the DuPont legal department.
Today, DuPont Legal has 42 primary law firms and
11 primary service providers in its network, and
the model is now imitated by in-house legal departments
of all sizes throughout the U.S.
Computer
Forensics, now in its 11th year of operation,
pioneered the fields of electronic media discovery
and electronic risk control in the 1990s. Founded
by world-renowned cybersleuth Joan Feldman, Computer
Forensics provides e-risk management, discovery
planning and technical services to the nations
most respected law firms and corporate law departments.
The companys full-time, certified forensic,
discovery and testifying experts are relied upon
by lawyers for everything from strategic discovery
consulting to tape restoration and hard drive
analysis.
The
field of computer forensics has grown substantially
over the past few years because nearly every litigation
matter now requires attorneys to conduct electronic
discovery, said Feldman. With a permanent
forensics lab in Seattle, plus on-site national
and international capture capability, we provide
the nations largest companies and top law
firms with a comprehensive approach to electronic
discovery planning and risk management, cost containment,
and data review. Were gratified by DuPont
Legals selection of our company to be included
in their leading-edge strategic partnership program
and will work hard to reward their confidence
in our capabilities.
DuPont
Legal network members are carefully selected based
on a number of criteria, including: their commitment
to competence, excellence and getting results;
using technology to increase efficiency and produce
the most cost-effective services possible; focusing
on work process re-engineering to increase efficiency
and reduce costs; and retaining women and minorities.
Computer
Forensics Inc. is headquartered in Seattle and
operates a regional office in Lawrence, Kansas.
