Allison
Griffin is a Computer Discovery Specialist at
Computer Forensics Inc. (CFI). CFI, founded
in 1994, is a pioneer in the science of computer
forensics and the practice of electronic discovery.
CFI combines the expertise of computer, litigation,
and records management specialists to locate,
collect, and analyze evidence found on backup
tapes, hard drives, servers, and email systems.
CFIs expert services include discovery consulting,
cost containment, expert testimony, and e-risk
management services, with extensive expertise
in data preservation, 30(b)(6) deposition, and
discovery motion assistance.
Allison
Griffin joined the CFI staff in June 2004. She
coordinates the progress of active case matters
under her direction.
Allison has more than 20 years experience in the
legal industry, where she has developed numerous
methods to investigate and manage complex, civil
litigation matters. She is the author of Advanced
Civil Discovery for the Litigation Paralegal in
Washington and co-author of Paralegals
and the Litigation Team. Allison has also
been a guest speaker at the University of Washington
Law School's Civil Procedure class on discovery
and document management issues.
After her formal training in court reporting from
the Auerswald Business University, Allison received
specialized training in numerous software programs
such as Access, Summation, Concordance, CaseMap
and Excel. She has trained hundreds of people
in the use of these and other programs.
